Artechno develops, produces and applies microorganisms to bring natural solutions in food, animal feed, vegetal and environment applications.
Artechno was created (1999) as a spin-off company stemming from the research work at the Walloon Center for Industrial Biology (CWBI), a research Institute in the Belgian universities of Gembloux Agro Bio Tech and Liège University.
Created by the Professor Philippe Thonart, Artechno has turned into an independent family owned business, running two separated production sites equipped with a wide range of fermentation bioreactors (from 1L to 8m³), drying equipments and a laboratory focused on the development of new solutions and products.
Artechno is part of the TH-Group, gathering companies with linked specialities and working in a strong partnership.
